I’m not sure where I originally stumbled upon this, but I’m quite fascinated by it. Whitman is known in electronica circles by his alter-ego “Krvastki.”
Under that name, he produces the kind of hard drum machine and bass excursions that I’m not very fond of. But as Whitman, he takes organic instruments like guitar and piano and uses sound editing software on his laptop to produce lush sonic landscapes that are strange, even other-worldy, but compellingly musical, at least to me.
Good background music for Saturday afternoon reading.
Epitonic (a great place for undiscovered artist grazing) has full tracks.
